Accounting is the key discipline of Ministry of Education and Shandong province (1991), provincial teaching and reforming pilot major (1999), the provincial-level to-be-strengthened key discipline (2002), provincial brand major (2006), national characteristic major construction center (2007), "Taishan Scholar" post-granting discipline(2008), the provincial-level characteristic key discipline (2010).The accounting laboratory is an experimental area with an innovated cultivating mode for national-level applied accounting talents(2007) and provincial-level experimental teaching demonstration center (2009).Basic Accounting (2003), Intermediate Financial Accounting(2011), Cost Accounting (2011)are provincial excellent courses. Basic Accounting has won the first prize of 'Twelfth Five-Year national planning textbooks' of undergraduates for general higher education in 2012 and excellent material of Shandong Province in 2011.The teaching research results have won two first prize and two second prizes of provincial-level teaching results prize.
